Rec Management toolbox week 4

This week for my additional content I chose a few things that helped me to more fully understand the things in which I learned. 1. Dendy, Chris " How teachers can help every student shine" This article talked about different ways you can help students with ADHD excellent in the class room by doing certain things and setting routines. https://www.additudemag.com/teaching-strategies-for-students-with-adhd/ 2. National center for learning disabilities "Strengths of students with learning disabilities and disorders" This video talks a lot about the things people with disabilities and disorders are good at. It taps into this and explains how to help them using their strengths for a variety of things. https://youtu.be/CYHzJGTA6KM

1. This week I chose a video that I thought was really helpful with seeing it form the point of view of those who are disabled. We focused a lot on what we can do to improve and make them feel included. I felt like the best way to help them is to hear from them directly. I honestly could not think of a better source, and not to mention is pretty hilarious as well. Here is the link!   https://youtu.be/Gv1aDEFlXq8 2. W03 Improving language segment

Rec Management Toolbox week 2

1. "A Life Without Recreation, Leisure, and Sports" an article by Darrion Sterling This was an article that talked a lot about what life would be like if we were not allowed to do any of these activities. It talked about how miserable life would be for all of us and how we would never get to enjoy anything in life. It also talks about the impact that it would have on the communities as well as the economy if we went throughout life without these things.
