RM toolbox week 7

This first video talks a lot about why its so important to be mindful of those who have disabilities. It highlights the importance of why we should all try to make things as handicap assessable as possible. https://youtu.be/-1xgTs28vXw I found a really great article on how you can go about making recreation areas assessable. I choose to look at the pool one since we used it as an example for our application assignment. It helped me to see all of the options and possibilities out there. https://www.access-board.gov/guidelines-and-standards/recreation-facilities/guides/swimming-pools,-wading-pools,-and-spas/accessible-swimming-pools-and-spas

RM Toolbox week 6

This first video is very helpful for parents. It helps them to spot the early signs of depression in their teenagers, and also provides them with advice and options to best help them. "Teen Depression: What Parents Need To no and how to help" https://youtu.be/ltRZ9KH4TRE This article is one that I found to be very helpful. With the case study it was our job to help the kid, but I also feel like as patents we want to do all we can to be there for our children. This article helps parents know what to do and how to go about being there and helping their child.  "Parents guide to teen depression" https://www.helpguide.org/articles/depression/parents-guide-to-teen-depression.htm/

More specifically in this article it focuses on the rehabilitation of the attention. This can be really hard for a person depending on how severe their injury was and has proven effective. WGBH News "Former NFL star Brett Favre Opens up about concussion side effects" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlv-lJNG3pw In this video Brett Favre explains some of the side effects he suffers from as a result of his  concussions.
